About the Wyoming Association of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Centers

The Wyoming Association of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Centers is made up of the mental health and substance abuse centers throughout the state of Wyoming that serve as the delivery system for state funded public mental health and substance abuse treatment. Our association continues to grow stronger and continues to provide the leadership in providing mental health and substance abuse treatment in the state of Wyoming. Two of the leading reasons for the continued strength and vitality of the association are its volunteers and local autonomy. Each community throughout Wyoming has a local community board made up of volunteers that control the monies and make the decisions that are in the best interest of that community.

We are appreciative of all the long hours that the volunteers on the local boards put in each year to make sure that the services are provided to their communities. We appreciate the efforts of the many legislators who have met with and assisted their local boards during the years. It is our intention as Mental Health and Substance Abuse Centers to continue to provide quality service to our clients wherever they may be in Wyoming.

If you or a loved one is in need of our services, please do not hesitate to contact the Center in your area.

The 20 WAMHSAC community based member centers are an integral component to the state's overall health care system.
