Cloud Peak Counseling Center is a Wyoming Not-For-Profit Corporation governed by a Board of Directors and is certified as a Mental Health and Substance Abuse treatment provider by the Wyoming Department of Health. Our agency was founded in 1977 to provide services to the residents of Washakie County. Our office is located in Worland and we provide outreach services in Ten Sleep, The Wyoming Boys' School, and the greater community.

All services are provided by staff, licensed and certified in their clinical specialties by the State of Wyoming. These staff members include: Professional Counselors, Clinical Social Workers, Registered Nurses, Certified Mental Health Workers, and a Marriage and Family Therapist. Psychiatric services are also provided, under contract with other providers.

Services provided by Cloud Peak Counseling Center include: individual, group, couples, and family counseling, case management services, assessments, psychiatric and medication management services. In addition, prevention, consultation and education services are provided to the community at no cost.

Most services are billed on a sliding fee schedule, based on income and family size. No one is refused services based on inability to pay.

Meadowlark Program

The Meadowlark Program is a community transition program for seriously mentally ill adults, provided under contract with the Wyoming State Hospital. The program provides a full-array of support services to eight clients including housing, case management, and psychiatric services. Additional information about admissions, eligibility, etc. will be provided upon request.

Washakie Works

Washakie Works is a vocational program, operating as a freestanding business. These services include yard and garden work, household moving, painting, and miscellaneous small jobs. In addition, Washakie Works is licensed as a Worland building contractor. Our crews, supervised by professional job coaches, provide high quality construction/remodeling services, at competetive prices.
