HCCRC: High Country Counseling and Resource Centers

High Country Counseling and Resource Centers are private, nonprofit, community mental health centers, organized under the laws of the state of Wyoming to provide accessible, affordable, and high quality Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Services in Lincoln and Sublette counties, Wyoming. Services are available to anyone on a sliding fee scale basis.

HCCRC is a community minded care provider which offers a wide variety of professional services. These include:

Outpatient Services:
Outpatient Services are requested by people seeking help to solve problems that are interfering with their daily lives at home or on the job.

Emergency Services:
Emergency Services are offered to residents in both Lincoln and Sublette counties. As a result, anyone who needs assistance can depend on a qualified professional to be available when an emergency arises, day or night.

Rehabilitation Services:
Treatment options for clients who require more intensive care than outpatient service, but not full hospitalization. The client retains daily family contact and support while receiving frequent, highly focused treatment and compassionate support.

Consultation and Education Services:
HCCRC plays an important role in each community it serves through education and consultation services. These programs are designed to increase public awareness of the value of good mental health. They also make the public aware that - with mental health care, as with physical health care - prevention of serious problems is as important as treatment.

Marriage Counseling and Family Therapy:
These programs are designed to help families that are fragmented or in crisis, where the integrity of the family unit is threatened.

Substance Abuse Prevention:
The prevention program identifies the consequences and costs of alcohol, tobacco, and drug use to people throughout the community. The program educates young people and their parents about the dangers of substance abuse.

Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program:
An adult Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program serving both men and women is offered by coordinating client need through initial evaluations, individual therapy and group therapy programs. Professionals combine drug court recommendations with a four phase graduation process to allow for recovery and accountability.

North Lincoln County School District #2 Program:
HCCRC works with the local school district to provide on-site mental health and substance abuse services to adolescents and young adults. Services include individual and group therapy, as well as on going consultation with parents, teachers, principals, and other school district personnel regarding the needs of the student.

21st Century State Incentive Grant:
HCCRC acts as the housing agent for this grant which includes after school programs, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and parenting classes for youth and their parents in Lincoln County.

Psychiatric Services:
HCCRC has contracted with a licensed professional psychiatrist who meets with clients on a monthly basis to assess prescription medication needs.
