Qualifications:
Master's
degree in an accredited nursing program with a
specialty in psychiatry/mental health. Must be licensed (or
able to be
immediately licensed) in the State of Wyoming, must have prescriptive
authority and qualify for a Drug Enforcement Agency number.
Duties
and Responsibilities:
Prescribes
psychotropic medications to FCS clients (adults and
children) according to need and best practices. Assess needs
of
individuals, monitor effects/progress and adjust medications
as needed.
Provide clients with information about medications and other
available
treatments; assist with obtaining medications through PAP's;
develop
follow-up schedules. Provide crisis intervention and stabilization
when
necessary. Manage medication inventory. Provide services in
both FCS
offices (travel between Lander and Riverton will be required).
Some evening and weekend work may be required.
