Full-Time
Substance Abuse Counselor
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in a mental health discipline or
related field is required. CAP certification is required.
If not
licensed at the time of hire, must obtain licensure or provisional
licensure within six months of date of hire. Must have had
at least one
year of documented, supervised experience providing mental
health or
substance abuse treatment services as part of or after awarding
of
degree.
Duties
and Responsibilities:
Works
under the supervision of the Mental Health Professional-Clinical
Supervisor and/or the Executive Director. Provides services
to individuals, families, couples, and/or groups including
assessments, testing and evaluation, psychotherapy, consultation,
and psycho-educational services. Participates in crisis coverage
in staff rotation, and provides community education and consultation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
