Qualifications:
MINIMUM
REQUIREMENTS:
A
Master's degree or higher, in psychology, social work, counseling
or related field with a part of the advanced training being
a supervised experience working with behaviorally or emotionally
disturbed children or adolescents; or a Bachelor's degree
in psychology, social work, counseling or related field with
four years of mental health experience, with a minimum of
two years experience working with behaviorally or emotionally
disturbed children and adolescents. Minimum of two years of
clinical supervision experience preferred. Wyoming Professional
License required, or willingness to obtain license when eligible.
Completion of clinic's TFC teaching model or willingness to
complete as soon as possible after employment.
Duties
and Responsibilities:
1.
Implements and supports the approved TFC teaching model with
TFC parents, biological parents and youth in treatment foster
care homes.
2. Receives referrals for services from the Referral Team.
Refers inappropriate referrals to appropriate community services
provider(s).
3. Complete required clinical documentation, including Clinical
Assessments, Treatment Plans, FARS/CFARS, SED forms, etc.,
in a timely manner.
4. Provides individual, marital, family, group, and rehabilitative
services as appropriate to the client needs. Makes appropriate
referrals as needed during course of treatment.
5. Maintains the Agency standard of expected minimum direct
services productivity (currently 55%).
6. Develops and maintains positive working relationships with
other community providers, coordinating to provide joint treatment
as needed.
7. Maintains case records to reflect course of treatment as
reflected in the Treatment Plan, and prepares written reports
regularly, as needed, all in a timely manner.
8. Provides emergency services during work hours and after
hours as assigned.
9. Provides program and case consultation and education services
internally and to other community groups and individuals.
10. Participates in agency program development activities.
11. Provides liaison services for local, regional and state
hospitals to ensure continuity of care for Clinic clients.
12. Maintains therapeutic responsibility for the collection
of fees.
13. Attends staff meetings, supervisor conferences, treatment
team meetings and other activities, which ensure the smooth
function of clinic operations.
14. Provides mental health evaluations and prepares reports
of findings and recommendations.
15. Coordinates treatment team meetings as needed for children
for whom this service is needed, which may include biological
family, foster family, school, DFS, GAL, and any other person
or organization directly involved with the treatment of the
client.
16. Assists in training, groups, guides, and other staff as
requested.
17. Supervises guides in providing skill training for clients
assigned, on a weekly basis.
18. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Youth Services,
Clinic Director, or Executive Director.
