Qualifications:

A professional therapist must possess a Master's Degree in a human-services related field from an accredited program and be licensed (including a provisional license) to practice therapy in the State of Wyoming. A therapist will have a basic knowledge of a theory-based therapeutic model, the ability to assess and understand a clients issues and the ability to develop and implement an appropriate treatment plan in conjunction with a client.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A therapist will provide: individual, group, family and marital
therapy at the agency or in the community as appropriate; case
management; evaluations and assessments (including appropriate testing); substance abuse evaluations using the Addictions Severity Index (ASI) and American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) placement criteria; work with other agency staff in joint efforts with clients; and on call emergency coverage in staff rotation. A therapist will seek supervision as appropriate. Each therapist will provide the minimum number of direct service hours established by the Executive Director. Of a therapist's time available for services, HCBH expects that a therapist will provide 95 billable services hours on a monthly basis.
