Southwest
Counseling Service is a comprehensive community mental health
and substance abuse treatment center that is committed to
provide everyday solutions for everyday people.
Southwest Counseling is also proud to be the first center
in the state of Wyoming to be accredited by the Commission
to Accredit Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and has been
since the initial accreditation in 2001.
Our licensed staff has been providing services to Sweetwater
County for over 40 years and continues to provide services
at four convenient locations in Rock Springs and Green River.
We serve children, adolescents, individuals and families of
all ages. Our services are specific to each clients

Counselings Bridges Program (Psychosocial Services)
provides daily services for adults who have a serious
mental illness such as bipolar disorder, sever major
depression and/or schizophrenia.
The purpose of the Bridges Program (Psychosocial Services)
is to assist clients in crossing the bridges of life.
The program enables individuals with a serious mental
illness to live a meaningful life in the community
while achieving his/her full potential. The program

Counseling Service also provides an ongoing prevention program
to educate youth and the
community about the dangers of alcohol, drugs and tobacco.
The prevention team also works to create
more knowledge about communicable diseases and suicide.
